In the very heart of Melendugno stands the baronial Palace of Amely, with its peculiar shapes. Designed by famous military architect Gian Giacomo dell'Acaya, it dates back to the early 16th century.

The village of Rocchetta Alta is a highly suggestive place, dominated by the ruins of the ancient castle and surrounded by houses abandoned in the mid-nineteenth century, walking through the alleys of the houses it seems that some of them are still waiting for the return of the ancient owners.
