The Homeland Museum and the City Library are located in the building of the old Prince's Palace built in 1873/74. years. The museum has seven subject collections and 2400 exhibits. Mihailo-Miho Vukovic Library was founded in 1889. as a reading room.

The Maria Santissima della Vetrana sanctuary is the religious symbol of Castellana Grotte. There, in 1961, the plague was miraculously defeated and the folk re-enactment of the Fanòve was born.

The Museum, born in 2004 and set up in the alleys of the suggestive ancient village of Casalciprano, represents a real journey through time to discover the tools of the rural tradition accompanied by contemporary sculptures and paintings. A part of the itinerary also develops inside restored houses used as exhibition rooms and this contributes to make the visit even more pleasant and welcoming.
