Virpazar

The name of this locality is old. It was first mentioned under the name Vir in the Charter of King Vladislav in 1242, by which this ruler donates it to the monastery of St. Nikola in Vranjina. Great historical events took place here starting from the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century.
