St. Friday" church is the earliest church in Voskopoja. It is thought to have been constructed in 1378. They decided to build the church of "St. Friday" in the place of the fire.

At first they only spent the summer in that place, but when they grew too large and could not wander around, they make sure to leave an old man in a hut, with the food he needs, and he winters for beauty. Then they finally settled. ”The first inhabitants filled the town of Voskop and create a lower plain of the Korça plain, in the 14th century. Then the first writings and buildings of St. Friday. Then add the population and make other people who wanted to escape Islamization. Above the church gate is the inscription: "Prayer of the service of the god, Theodhor Gjergj Koisora". The church of "St. Friday" is of the Byzantine style and facilitated by the narthex, the nave and the part of the altar. The wall of the church is in front of tuff stones and clay mortar, colored. Years later the two windows of the church were closed, because the church of "St. Dionysus" was built next to it.
