The most distinctive type of landscape is Piva Lake, 42 km long, with a volume of 800 million m3 of water, which flooded the old settlement of Pluzine. It was created by building a hydroelectric power plant, ie by building a concrete arch dam near Mratinje, which is 220 m high and is one of the highest dams of that type in the world.
