The Kursaal Santalucia complex is a beautiful late Art Nouveau building on Bari's waterfront.
The purpose of the whole Kursaal Santalucia complex is to serve as the "House of Arts and Sounds." It consists of several halls: a theatre/cinema hall, the "Giuseppina" hall, which is used for concerts and celebrations, and the wonderful Heaven/Roof Garden hall, with a contemporary installation by artist Alfredo Pirri.
After careful restoration and refurbishment, the Kursaal Santalucia today hosts cultural events and gatherings.
