The Boka- Kotor Bay consists of following bays: Toplanski, Tivatski , Risanski and Kotorski which are interconnected by the open sea by narrow transverse passages. Boka has seven islands in its bay and it has been a part of the UNESCO cultural heritage since 1979. thanks to the medieval town of Kotor. Since 1997, Boka has been officially included in the Association of the 28 most beautiful bays in the world, as the only fjord in the Mediterranean.
