It is a natural attraction of the country consisting of an imposing rocky massif that bears the name of Civita, which has remains of Samnite fortifications. The massif looks like an arduous and extensive pasture with four ridges that interrupt its profile. Those crests sink in the opposite valley determining ravines; they are the peaks of the "morconi" that from the valley rise for more than two hundred meters and anciently made inaccessible "Civita" from external attacks. But the "Civita" was not inviolable from other parts, and these, were strengthened by a wall of which survive mighty but fragmentary remains in the northern and eastern slopes of the colossal boulder.
From the high of Civita it is possible to observe to naked eye twenty-eight Municipalities.
