Cascate di Carpinone

The uncontaminated territory of Carpinone presents us with one of the best known tourist attractions of Molise.
Its waterfalls are an example of how a non-invasive management and the will of the locals can bring to the fore the natural environments of which Molise is full. Here in the vicinity of the village, immersed in a lush nature, along rivers and streams, are born the Waterfalls of Carpinone. Visiting them is a real pleasure for the spirit, to reach them you have to make short trips in the woods, woods of lush nature and full of many varieties of flowers that make these places surrealistically fairy-tale.
The waterfalls of Carpinone have become a tourist attraction thanks to the work of many volunteers of an association created to enhance and rediscover the natural heritage.
The paths to get to the falls are accessible thanks to the wooden signs, made by hand, just not to affect the picturesque landscape. Place of "meditation" or place of adventure, many are the fans and the curious who venture to practice water trekking.
