Museo Archeologico di Oria e dei Messapi

The Archaeological Museum of Oria and the Messapians is on display in its renewed layout inside the 18th-century Palazzo Martini, in the heart of the town's historic centre. The museum exhibition is divided into ten rooms that narrate - through authentic artefacts, audio-visual impressions and continuous references to the present - the different threadsrunning through the lives of the ancient inhabitants of the territory, and explore the ancient Messapian culture, which wrote a very important chapter in the history of Salento.
