Ura e Brataj, a cultural monument and protected by the state, still functions today in the municipality of Brataj, in the village of the same name on the banks of the Shushicë river, about 48 km from the city of Vlora. Of special interest is its construction with arches and especially the strength of the bridge material. It is one of the special monuments, where, in addition to the role of 6 centuries of life, it is in operation. This object, which has served the inhabitants of this area for many centuries, has been evaluated as an object on which the cultural monument shield would act and is protected by the state.
Brat bridge has two arches. The large space is the part where the river also passes, while the other parts are windows when the waters swell in the winter season, the waters are discharged from this part as well. The Brat Bridge has been standing there for 6 centuries. A complete profile of the Brat bridge was seen in the movie "November the second". The Brat bridge in the winter season also reflects its strength. This bridge dates back to the 16th century and is located near the village of Brataj. It has been functional for more than 5 centuries. As a crossing bridge, it connects the two sides of the Shushicë river, the old road of Karvaneve with that of Rrëza. It is over 9 meters high and approximately 30 meters long. It connects the village of Brataj with the field of Brat and Smokthina.
