Back Bay of Shen Andreu

Bay of Shen Andreu

St. Andrew's Bay is the most southern of the smallest bays that can be found in Karaburun National Park. The bay is very picturesque with a small gravel beach, amidst a lush oak forest. The area is easily reached from the sea from the tourist center Dhermi - Palase. Posidonia is present in irregular patches in the center of the bay being better placed in deeper waters that offer a protection from the corrosive action of the waves. The bottom-sea structure is gravel. Bottom anchor: spiral screw or concrete block.

This Bay is exceptionally astounding with its uncommon sand and its water. The water is spotless and has an extraordinary shading. Here you will have the chance to appreciate the sun and the find in this perfect corner of the coast.

Very close to Shen Andre bay, there is a cave with the same name and also a very old church named ‘’Shen Andre Church’’.
