The church of Saint Nicholas (or Shen Kolli in Albanian) is the most complete monument among the five basilicas of Voskopoja. It is situated at the center of Voskopoja Village. It began construction in June 1721 and was completed on September 19, 1722. The church is of the basilica type with three naves measuring 33x17 meters and consists of a nave, narthex, porch and bell tower. The porch is located on the south side of the church and rests on stone columns. In 1750 the porch to the church was painted by two outstanding painters, who lived in the same century. They were Constantine and Athanas Zografi, two brothers from Korca. These artists contributed to painting the most important churches of the time, including Mount Athos, the holy place of Orthodoxy. They have also left their imprints on other churches in the neighbouring villages. The church of "St. Kolli" is covered by a double roof with stone slabs. The walls of the church are made of hewn stone connected with mortar and lime. Frescoes showing around 1000 biblical figures are preserved in the church. Inside, walls of the church were painted by one of the most well-known artists of that time David Selenica.
The Church of Saint Nicholas is declared Cultural Monuments of Albania.
