Cascatella lo Schiaffaturo a Montagano

Among the many waterfalls that we find throughout the territory of Molise, worthy of note is the small waterfall called "lo Schiaffaturo", in the municipality of Montagano.
The small waterfall is seasonal and can be seen only in spring, when it still receives the waters of the valley upstream. Between the end of April and the end of May, the Pro-Loco organizes a walk to the waterfall and the day ends with a lunch with a typical dish, "Lu Fnnatrill" prepared with zucchini, peeled tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, sausage and eggs.
