The Venafro Regional Olive Park, also known as the Oraziano or Campaglione Park, was established by Regional Law in 2008 and in 2018 was included in the prestigious National Register of Historic Rural Landscapes of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Tourism. It is the first protected area dedicated to the olive tree, the only one of its kind in the Mediterranean. Venafro oil was already known in ancient times, as Marcus Porcius Cato and Horace spoke of it and considered it to be the finest oil in the ancient world.

Its establishment is intended to promote and preserve traditional olive-growing and also serves as redemption for an area that has been penalised in recent decades by neglect and abandonment, in spite of its landscape, natural and historical qualities.
The vegetation consists exclusively of centuries-old olive trees (Olea europaea) and is located just outside the town, behind the cathedral of Venafro and reaches as far as the mountain.
Some archaeological remains are preserved in the park: the polygonal terracing, the remains of the aqueduct of the Roman theatre and the small church of the Madonna della Libera.
