The springs of the Pietrecadute group are constituted by the springs of Pietrecadute and Turno, which occupy the entire south-eastern foothills of the town of Bojano, from Pietrecadute to the Palazzo Ducale of Salita Pandone, along Via Biferno and Via Turno. These springs, to the east of Bojano, are the most important for the quantity of water of the internal spring system of Biferno; they flow from numerous springs among the limestones of the mountain and the impermeable marls of tamponade.

An aquifer of Pietrecadute forms a small basin of water retention, once used both to feed a small hydroelectric power plant and to provide water for the processing of broom collected in the hilly areas of the valley of Bojano. In the 1920s-30s, broom was used, among other things, in the preparation of a textile yarn for clothing and linens. The outflow from the basin forms the first part of the course of the Biferno River fed to the west by other aquifers that flow from under the houses of Via Turno near the small reservoir, also of good and constant flow. The total flow rate of the Pietrecadute waters is about 1.4 m3 /s.
The Turno springs are numerous, some are located under the houses of Via Turno, Via Biferno and under the Ducal Palace, flowing under a thick layer of gravels, sands and clays to contribute to the formation of the water table of the Bojano valley. The springs are called - Lavatoio - Mulinello (ru mul∂niell∂), today disused, Well of house Fraraccio, today of house Quaranta. Another spring is found in the crypt of the Cathedral of Bojano. Here the water flows slowly and can be considered part of the aforementioned water table.
