The Cetinje Monastery is the most important monument of the city, its backbone and soul, a place where not only symbolically, but also really - the history of the Montenegrin people took place and was resolved. It houses two famous Christian relics: a particle of the Holy Cross and the hand of St. John the Baptist, which in the past belonged to the Knights of Malta, placed in precious gold cassettes decorated with precious stones.
