It represents the largest karst spring in Montenegro. They used to be called Vrulja, then Vrela, and after that Sava's springs, after Saint Sava, and Gusinjski springs. They are currently named Ali Pasha's springs, after Ali Pasha Gusinjski, a famous historical figure from the 19th century.

The Trullo Cave in Putignano is one of the most impressive karst caves in Puglia. Since 1931 it has offered visitors an incredible spectacle, just two metres below street level.

The "MuFeG" Community Museum of the Feast of Wheat is located at the "Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie" and documents the deep bond that the Jelsese community has with the Feast of Wheat, which has been celebrated for over 200 years every 26th July in honour of Saint Anne.
