Tushemisht is located only a few hundreds meters from Drilon. It is known in the area for the great number of springs on the hills, the water of which flows down under the village houses into the lake. The village has about 300 houses and an old 19th century, which gathers a lot of believers from the area. The village has a strong relationship with tourism and for this purpose there are comfortable hotels and restaurants near the lake to enjoy the view. Only a few meters form the centre of Tushemisht is the border with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. This is one of the border checkpoints used to cross the border in Pogradec.
