Near the northern gate of the Old Town of Ulcinj, on a small closed square, next to the town fortress, there is a partially preserved originally built Catholic Church of St. Mary, built in 1510. The Ottomans turned it into a mosque in 1693 when it underwent major changes, so that not much has been preserved from the original church.
