The collegiate parish church of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Grottaglie is the most important religious building in the “city of ceramics”. The building was made in 1372, designed by architect Domenico di Martina, in late Romanesque style.
The Mother Church is located in the heart of the city's old town, in Piazza Regina Margherita, standing out among the surrounding buildings owing to its refined architecture and the majesty of its majolica-covered dome.
