As a large three-nave building, with flat Romanesque facades, with the forms of detail that it has, the church of St. Triphon is undoubtedly inspired by the representative Apulian cathedrals, which are built on the model of the church of St. Nicholas in Bari. Inside cathedral there are relics of St. Triphon brought from Constantinople to Kotor in a silver coffin.
