At the former airfield, an artwork recalls the Mig military planes of the dictatorship. For many citizens who grew up in this area, it is a return to childhood. The work was conceived by Eljan Tanini, while the mayor Veliaj said that it has aesthetic and artistic values for unit 7.
An artwork designed by Eljan Tanini has been added to the former Aviation Field in Unit 7, as a landmark for a space that once housed airplanes.
The work is entitled "Childhood Dream", presented in the form of a paper airplane, as a way to bring back to everyone's memory one of the most beloved children's games. Activist Eljan Tanini said that this work is a gift for the children of the capital.
The piece "Childhood Dream" is 11m tall, almost the actual length of a MiG Aircraft that was once often found at the former Airfield.
